				PurposeThe Microsoft Office Certificate will expose the student to the key Microsoft productivity applications. Students will study word processing, spreadsheet and database. Certificate recipients may enter the workforce or apply these classes to the Office Administration or Medical Office Administration degrees. Graduates should meet the general pedagogy competencies within the first three years of teaching, including a minimum of six semester hours per school year. Additional requirements, such as preservice training and passing the PRAXIS, are required for licensure. |
